Armageddon X-71 Shuttle Stack |

This is my X-71 Shuttle from the movie Armageddon. The model depicts the "Independence' shuttle that was destroyed in the movie by a stray asteroid. I used the 1/144 scale Minicraft shuttle-stack as base kit. The Shuttle was lengthened, and wings and top-bulges are modified to match the movie shuttle. The long OMS pods are from my spare parts box. Extra details were added using decals from other kits I've had. The SRBs & ET are straight built and enchanced with Realspace models decals.
