All reference I used for this scratchbuilt racer is based on the
SW:Ep1 Insider's Guide CD. It's basically not a model according
to exact detail. I used sheet styrene on most of it and the "split-X"
flaps and an old plastic hose head for the engine. I then stuffed the
engine part with various wire shapes and sizes. The pod is composed
mainly of styrene. I then base coated everything using Tamiya silver and used
Tamiya acrylic paints with help of masking to complete the over-all
look of Ebe's racer. Then I weathered everything by lightly airbrushing
tones of gray and dark blue. I used colored pencils to do the final
touches.
