USS Yamaguchi

By Trenton Bennett

This is my basically almost "out of the box" U.S.S. Yamaguchi kit w/out lights. The reason why I didn't put any lights in her, is cause I had to use the lights for another similar kit, which didn't turn out real well. But anyways. The main hull color for the Yamaguchi is Light Sea Gray, and the contrasting hull panels are "The Armory, water soluble polymer acrylic paint" blue #03, and blue angel blue mixed with flat insignia white. The Blue #03 color was used for around the life boats area on the top and bottom parts of the saucer and any other blue areas you see through out the ship. And the blue angel blue mixed with insignia white is used for the area where the windows are. I used JTGraphic decals for the most part, and I say most part is because I used some of the decals from the original set since they were a bit bigger than those of JTGraphics. The only decals I used from the original set was for the name and registry number on the Nacelle Pylons, and the registry number and United Federation Of Planets deal on the back ends of the top parts of the nacelles. I wish I had taken more time doing the undersling shuttle bay though to make it more even, but I didn't.
