This is my Ares 1 rocket from Real Space Models. As always, an excellent product. Even the texture on the tank was molded into the kit. Decals were provided but not really enough to make it look really good. I was really disappointed that the Ares logo was not included. I did add some decals left over from a shuttle and I believe the Apollo/Soyuz kits. It did get a little tricky lining up all the segments. You just about have to sand each segment to perfection. A hole is molded into most of the booster segments to put in a support rod. It is in 1/144 scale which makes it very tall and neat to have next to a shuttle. I am currently working with a buddy of mine, who is a autocad wiz, on building a launch tower for my Ares 1. The bad thing is that this Ares 1 design is already outdated, but I am sure it could be modified.
