I bought these kits way back in 1995. I can't remember the make, but both were from a different brand. After a quick paint job, both were placed in storage, half-built. Quite recently, I dug them up. Then I discovered I used enamel paints on those vinyl kits. All the dust was sticking on the paint and C3PO turned out to look like a Chia-pet! I cleaned them up, repainted 3PO, used Tamyia clear orange/yellow to make him more glossy. I then placed them on a base with sand depicting Tatooine. I think they turned out great.
