Star Trek Crew

I have had these vinyl model kits from Ertl for a number of years now, so I decided to start making them. They are a very easy kit to assemble. First you need to clean each part (usually 5 to seven parts) in warm water, then with a exacto-knife trim the joints until you are satisfied with the sim-less fit. What I have done as well seeing that these kit are hollow inside, I have filled them with sand then closed the parts of with plaster before gluing each part together. I like it when they are heavy. For the paints I used oil based gloss and oil based velvet paints to finish them off.I am presently working on Picard, while he dries I started Data, then Locutus.
