Here is my USS Mekong, a runabout of the Rio Grande class, built with minor modifications from the AMT-Ertl kit. It is painted with Krylon aerosol-can camouflage olive drab, with Testor's acrylic black on the windows (if the runabouts were easier to come by I'd build one with a detailed interior and leave the windows clear). The four flexible weapon mounts are made from stuffed-toy eyes, and the weapons are salvaged Games Workshop weapons.

The USS Mekong is assigned to the Starfleet Marine Corps' 666th Marine Strike Group (the Angels of Death) as a troop transport.
