This is the starship USS Repulse. She is a pre Star Trek: TOS vessel of Daedalus class design lineage but much larger. Her primary mission is naturally exploration (that seeking out new worlds thing) but if need be can be very imposing in battle.

The model is made from wood except for the bussard collectors on the nacelles. Those are clothing jewels from the hobby store. I used wood glue for the assembly and brushed on acrylic paints for the finish. She is named after the old Royal Navy's battlecruiser HMS Repulse.
