This is the starship Mercury. She is a pre-Star Trek: TOS vessel but shows design elements of the Constitution and the later Constellation class ships.

As usual I assembled her from dowel rod pieces (for the nacelles) cut to fit, scrap wood and a few other items (toothpaste cap for impulse drive, clothing jewels for bussard collectors, and a furniture button for the deflector dish). I used wood glue for assembly and acrylic paints brushed on for the finish. She is named in honor of NASA's project Mercury.
